About 'A Day in the Forest'

We offer tours to the public! We offer a tour once each year, usually in August or September. Our tours are a combination bus and walking tour guided by company foresters sharing with you forestry that really works. Principles of forestry such as fire protection, wildlife habitat and watershed maintenance, and sustainable high-yield production will be demonstrated and discussed. You will have the opportunity to view a variety of management practices employed for the protection and use of our forest lands.

Our tours are structured for adults both in the level of their presentation as well as the length; our tours are an all day event! We take very good care of you by providing refreshments, a picnic lunch, and a seedling for planting!

We are involved with students at the elementary school level both with our financial support and staff involvement with organizations such as Talk About Trees, The Forest Foundation, The Society of American Forests and various Arbor Day events.
